Excelsior is a privately held company established in 1999. The core part of Excelsior's engineering team has more than ten years of experience in the area of software development tools and has been providing such tools to the Russian space industry and Western high technology companies since mid-90s.

Headquartered in the Novosibirsk Scientific Centre, Russia, Excelsior sells its software products worldwide through a network of resellers and provides software development and consulting services to companies in Europe, Asia, and North America.
