A Mapping and GIS Control/Component for .Net, ActiveX, Delphi
A comprehensive GIS application development toolkit (SDK) provided as four product editions: 1) .NET WinForms component, 2) ActiveX control, 3) native Delphi/C++Builder VCL, and 4) .NET Compact Framework component. Each edition reflects the same framework and object API. 1. .NET component: For manageable .NET development with Windows® Forms using VB.NET or C#. Includes support for Visual Studio 2003 (VS2003), Visual Studio 2005 (VS2005) and Visual Studio Express. Supporting Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 & 3.5.
2. ActiveX control: For use with Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, Visual C++, Visual FoxPro, and any other programming language supported by ActiveX or .NET technologies (via COM). Supporting Microsoft Visual Studio 6, Visual Studio .NET 2003 (VS2003), Visual Studio .NET 2005 (VS2005), and Visual Studio Express.
3. VCL: Supporting Borland®/CodeGear® Delphi™ (6, 7, 2005, 2006, 2007) and C++Builder™ (6, 2006) "natively" as a VCL library. Native/manageable .NET support under Delphi 2005/2006/2007 included.
4. .NET Compact Framework component: Supporting Windows Compact Framework 2.0 development with Visual Studio 2005 and Compact Framework 2.0 and 3.5 development with Visual Studio 2008. For custom applications running on the Windows CE/Mobile operating systems.
The product supports most GIS/CAD, grid, raster image formats: SHP, E00, MIF/MID, TAB, DXF, DGN, TIGER, GML, KML, VPF, GDF, SDTS, DLG, GPX, CSV, TIFF/ GeoTIFF, JPEG, JPEG2000, PNG, BMP, BIL/SPOT, ECW, MrSID, IMG, CADRG, PixelStore, ASCII GRID, FLOAT GRID, BT, DTED, ADF, and SQL database layer formats: Oracle Spatial/Locator, ESRI Personal Geodatabase, ESRI ArcSDE, Geomedia Access Warehouse & SQL Server, OpenGIS, and TatukGIS binary. Support is for most SQL database products: MSSQL, Oracle, Interbase, DB2, Firebird, Advantage, sapDB, MySQL, etc.
