A Barcode Control/Component for ActiveX
Create and print industry-standard barcodes from your Windows applications. Active Barcode Component - Universal is an ActiveX barcode image creation component which supports over 50 major barcode types including EAN 8/13/14, UCC, ISBN, Code 39, Code 128, and many more, and allows bar thickness and the wide/narrow ratio to be adjusted. Barcodes can be rotated left or right, or inverted, and check digits can be automatically calculated and either shown or hidden.

Active Barcode Components are Active-X/Automation Controls that allows barcode images to be created within the user’s own software or created on the fly from data in a database field in Microsoft Access. A barcode image may be displayed on screen, printed on a printer, saved to a disk file, or passed to the Windows clipboard for incorporation into another Windows application. Although primarily designed for Microsoft's Visual Basic 6 and Microsoft Office (VBA), Active-Barcode Components may be employed with other Active-X-enabled systems, such as the Delphi development environment. Examples provided are based on Visual Basic 6 and MS Access 2002/3.
Active Barcode Component 1D Universal supports over 50 of the most common 1D barcode types, including Codabar, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN/UCC-13, EAN/UCC-14, GS1-128, IATA 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, ISBN, ISSN, ISMN, MSI, SSCC, Telepen, UPC-A, UPC-E, and many postal codes including InfoMail, OneCode, Postnet, Planet, RM4SCC and those for Australia, China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan and Singapore.
