This handy desktop application lets you create self-extracting zip files quickly and easily. Absolute Packager's polished, fully customizable self-extracting zip files are designed to inspire confidence and maximize end-user convenience. Fully customizable

Absolute Packager's self-extracting zip files provide plenty of flexibility. You can customize their title, intro message, icon, and everything else the self-extracting zip file displays. You can decide where files should be unzipped to, what happens when they are unzipped, and other things you can't do when you use regular zip files.

The classes can be easily extended so your code can work with files and folders no matter what kind they are: files and folders on an FTP site, in SharePoint, etc

Absolute Packager runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP and can create both 16 and 32-bit self-extracting zip files that will run on all Windows operating systems including Win 3.x/95/98/NT/2000/XP.

Basic mode, with 3 easy steps, allows users to create self-extracting zip files by answering the least amount of questions possible, while still customizing at least the title and introduction message, and suggesting where files should be unzipped to.

Advanced mode, with 5 extra steps, allows users to configure all available self-extracting zip file capabilities, in a clear, organized fashion.

When you need to create a self-extracting zip file really, really quickly, "One-Step" mode allows you to select files from your desktop or Windows Explorer, enter a title, description and a suggested unzipping directory, and instantly create a self-extracting zip file in the location of your choice.

Zip onto multiple floppies

When zipping onto a floppy, extra disks are automatically requested if the self-extracting zip file doesn't fit on one disk. Handling large amounts of files is no problem for Absolute Packager either. It can create self-extracting zip files containing 16,000+ files and up to 2 gigabytes. Zip file manipulation functionality

Self-extracting zip files created with Absolute Packager are 100% PKZip-2.04g compatible. Rename a self-extracting Zip file's extension from ".EXE" to ".ZIP" and it turns into a regular zip file that can be manipulated by popular programs such as WinZip, without affecting its status as a self-extracting zip file.
