A Database Query Building Application by CrossCompass Ltd

CrossCompass interprets end-user input and generates an SQL query against the selected table(s) at run time. This means you can allow end-users to execute ad hoc queries, instead of preparing/designing various queries for your end-users.

End-users will find the system easy to use as the query wizard to simple to use and understand - very important for end-users.

Users can then easily design a report based on the data extracted using a very comprehensive report designer.

Logon security can be added (if required) via either the user's windows password or a separate system password.

Developers can write their own bespoke reports to be run from within the system for end-users or design a report for groups of users to execute from the main screen of the system.

Relational databases such as Access, SQL-Server, Oracle, DB2, Informix, MySQL or Sybase are accessed via ADO.

Non-relational databases such as Adabas/VSAM etc are accessed via middleware.

Also allows users to query CSV and Excel files on the fly if allowed by the security system.

Also allows users to merge the database extracts with any Excel or CSV files several times.
