Editor.NET is an advanced code editor allowing integration of a highly flexible edit control in your .NET applications. It has almost all the features that can be found in the Visual Studio.NET code Editor, including customizable syntax highlighting, code outlining, code completion, unlimited undo/redo, bookmarks, word wrap, drag-n-drop, search/replace, and displaying gutter/margin/line numbers.

Editor.NET is designed to highlight syntax for more than 20 predefined programming languages such as C, C#, Delphi, Xml, Html, etc. and can be extended to perform syntax highlighting for virtually unlimited number of programming languages.

Editor.NET is written in C# and built on .NET classes. It ships with full source code, including design-time code

Features

• Customizable syntax highlighting. Syntax schemes for most common languages (C, C#, Delphi, Xml, Html, Perl, and others) are included. Also, you can develop your own syntax highlighting schemes and customize colors used for highlighting.


• Word Wrap. When a text extends beyond the visible code pane, it can automatically wrap to the next line. If you are working on a text with long lines, the word wrap feature becomes extremely useful. You will not need to scroll horizontally any more - since all long lines will be wrapped to fit the width of the editing control.


• Gutter and line numbers.The gutter area can be used to display bookmarks, line numbers or outline sections.


• Bookmarks simplify navigation through the text. The bookmarks can be indexed or circular. Images can be displayed on the gutter to mark lines with the bookmarks.


• Columnar and stream blocks are used for copying/pasting operations.


• Multiple views of the same text. You can edit the same text in several editors. Only one copy of the text is stored and the changes are automatically displayed in all linked editors


• Search and replace operations. All common search and replace operations are supported. You can specify various search/replace options, such as case sensitivity or search range.


• Drag-and-drop allows to move a selection to a new position visually.


• Unlimited undo/redo allows to roll back changes made to the text. Undo limit and undo blocks are supported.


• Incremental Search. The incremental search is performed on a letter-by-letter basis as you type the characters. To activate the incremental search, press CTRL+I.


• Code Outlining can be used to create regions of code and hide each region under a single line, and then expand or collapse the regions.


• IntelliSense. Editor.Net allows to display both code completion ListBox and ToolTip to display appropriate functions, statements and constants.


• Hyperlinks. Editor.Net can highlight and navigate though urls displayed in the text.


• Unlimited multilevel undo/redo - you can customize the amount of memory to accomodate the undo buffer and specify whether undo/redo will work with a single operation or a group of similar operations.


• Print and Print Preview - color printing is supported.


• Export to Html, Rtf and Xml.
