Building and displaying an organization chart in .NET using GoDiagram

Introduction

GoDiagram for .NET can be used to easily create and display an organization diagram, either running locally using Windows Forms, or running from your web server as an ASP.NET application.

Detail

That's exactly the kind of thing GoDiagram for .NET is intended for. You can display the org chart locally using .NET Windows Forms with GoDiagram Win, or you can display the org chart on your web site using GoDiagram Web (for ASP.NET). There are several sample applications that are relevant, but you might want to start by examing the DataSet Demo. This application demonstrates the creation of an org chart from a database using the .NET DataSet classes to access and modify the data, and using GoDiagram to display the diagram. The source code for this is in the free evaluation kit. You can see the ASP.NET version running on-line at the following location: http://www.godotnetweb.com/DataSetDemo/WebForm1.aspx You can register for the free download (including source code for this example) from the following location: http://www.nwoods.com/GO/evalform.htm If you have any questions, please contact gosales@nwoods.com.
