Convert positions between different coordinate systems. E.g. UTM, WGS84, NAD27, NAD83 and many national grids.
Add raster map support to your application. Draw icons, lines, etc. on the map using geographic coordinates. Connect GPS to map. Zoom and rotate map. Draw objects on multiple layers.
With GpsTools you can take a normal raster map (e.g. a GIF bitmaps) and use it in your application. You can define your own custom icons and add them to the map. The map can be synchronized with a GPS connected to your laptop or Pocket PC.
Objects. Draw text, lines, ellipses, rectangles, custom defined icons on a map using geographic coordinates.
Zoom. Zooming in and out.
Rotation. Rotate a map in any angle.
Layers. Draw on multiple layers. Turn layers on and off. Change Z-order of layers.
Blank map. Possible to draw on a blank map which does not need to be predefined in GpsTools Studio.
