AccuSoft's medical imaging SDK, ImageGear MD, provides the ability to quickly and easily read, write, display and transform DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) images, including JPEG 2000 medical images. ImageGear MD is available for Windows and Linux (Intel & PowerPC) platforms. The latest version also adds support for DICOM presentation state objects and 1-bit DICOM files.

Built around our proven and reliable ImageGear toolkit, ImageGear MD extends that core functionality by adding support for the loading, storing, and manipulation of monochrome, palletized and true color medical images using the following medical imaging standards:
