A Database Comparison Control/Component by Klik! Software

Klik! CompareLib v1.2 for MSAccess Developer Edition is a set of classes which are used to compare and synchronize the structural differences in MSAccess 97/2000/XP/2003 databases. The classes are the same engine behind the well known Klik! CompareLib for MSAccess tool and let's you achieve all the things found in the tool including database comparison, making deep analyses, generating and applying the merge scripts to the databases to make their structures equal.




The Developer Edition contains a Com Dll which consists of 2 classes and can be used in any ActiveX compilant language such as Visual Basic 5-6, Visual Basic.Net, Visual C#, etc. The first class, CCompareLib, is the class where all the database comparison and generation of merge scripts are handled. Only with a few lines of code, you can easily automate comparison the differences in your databases and generation of the merge scripts within your application. The second class, CScriptRunner, is the helper class to apply the generated scripts to the databases again with just a few lines of code.

This edition does also include the same amount of user licenses for the tool edition (which comes with the setup) so while you incorparate the engine to your application, you can also use the advanced tool interface for inhouse database comparisons.
