The utilities included in the Report Miner Suite are:

Extract
Report Miner Suite's Extract generates configurable professional-quality report definition documentation for Crystal Report files.

Key Features:
- Auto-Generate professional documentation in the following formats: Microsoft Word Format - allowing users to generate formal documentation on the report definition, including a visual layout of the report. Extract also supports using Word templates which allows documents to be generated in accordance with customer documentation standards.
- Microsoft Access DB Format - allowing users to create a database of all their reports for analysis (such as all database fields used in a report) as well as for cross-report analysis (such as all reports using field xxx).
- Text Format - allowing for a basic report detail output which can be used in conjunction with a version control tool to determine differences between reports.
- Can configure the amount of detail included in the documentation.
- Supports using Word templates when creating Word documents, allowing documents to be generated in accordance with existing documentation standards.
- Allows users to specify the "owner" of the Crystal Report File which will be stored in the generated Microsoft Access database. This allows users to be able to query for reports which are owned by certain customers.
- Can document either individual reports, or all reports in a directory (which will include reports found in all sub-directories).
- Can generate documentation for a batch of reports based on a file containing a list of all reports to be documented.
- Can be run from the command line with standard options
- Generated Access database can be used for cross-report analysis.

RptDiff
Report Miner RptDiff compares two report files and provides a visual analysis of all differences. The two files compared can be two versions of the same report or two separate reports (any stored data in the report file is ignored). The report differences can be viewed in the following ways:

- A side by side by side comparisson with the differences highlighted
- A printable combined view comparisson with the differences highlighted
- A printable difference view just showing the differences between the reports

RptDiff also allows the users to skip to the next difference in the files, for quickly identifying all changes.

XRef
Report Miner XRef (Table Cross-reference) provides a an Excel style cross-reference of your reports to the tables they utilize in preparing the reports (including sub-reports). The cross reference shows:

- Report file name
- Report title
- Sub-report name, if any
- Table reference, with full qualifications
- Record selection formula

This Table Cross-reference lets you quickly review your reports. The information can be ordered (sorted) by any of the fields, providing listing by table, by report title, etc. This cross-reference can also be copied to the clipboard for use with other applications, such as Excel.

Site Survey
SiteSurvey provides an Excel style overview of the selected reports including the following data fields:

- Report file name
- Report title
- Revision number
- Total editing time
- Author
- Last Revised by
- File date and time
- File size
- Number of sub-reports used
- Number of tables used
- Number of groups used
- Number of sections used
- Number of objects used
- Number of formulas

This survey lets you quickly review your reports. The information can be ordered (sorted) by any of the fields, providing listing from smallest to largest, oldest to most recent, etc. The survey can also be copied to the clipboard for use with other programs such as Excel.
