A Database API Control/Component for .Net, ASP.Net
UniDirect .NET is data provider to universal data access to different databases for the Microsoft .NET Framework. It supports most of major database servers: MSSQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL and others through OLE DB and ODBC. Provider based on ADO.NET technology and can be used in the same way as the SQL Server .NET or the OLE DB .NET. UniDirect .NET doesn't implement database specific access layer for all databases, it uses native ADO.NET providers and based on their functionality.

The main feature of the provider is an access to multiple database servers at the same code. With UniDirect.NET it is possible to avoid writing conditional code for different providers or using ADO.NET interfaces directly. Also UniDirect .NET realized full support of design-time development and integration with development IDE that allows to reduce development time. UniDirect .NET is shipped with support for set of most popular data providers. Also it is possible to use other providers to access new database or provider.
UniDirect .NET works with .NET Framework 1.1, and can be used with Visual Studio .NET 2003, Borland Delphi 8, Borland C#Builder 1.0.
UniDirect .NET Data Provider is licensed per a developer and registered users can deploy run-time assemblies with executable applications without royalty fee. Free support is provided for registered users.
